Plaintiff attorneys claim that medication errors injure 1.5 million people each year, making it the most common medical error. Floyd | Pflueger’s Pharmacy Law team of attorneys understand the pressures and scrutiny that come with being named in a medical negligence case. Our experience eliminates the need for a pharmacy or pharmacist to explain complex pharmacy regulations or the legal and ethical aspects of pharmacy practice.
Floyd | Pflueger attorneys work closely with pharmacy and health care professionals to alleviate the burdens of litigation and to develop and implement a winning defense strategy. This includes the aggressive pursuit of early resolution through effective utilization of mediation and arbitration. However, when trial is necessary, the Floyd | Pflueger trial team is highly regarded in the medical-legal community for its experience and expertise in presenting compelling arguments to a jury.
In addition to state and federal representation, we also represent pharmacists before the Washington Board of Pharmacy. Our primary goal at Floyd | Pflueger is to ensure that the right and ability to practice is preserved.
We defend national retail pharmacy chains, grocery store chains, local independent pharmacies and clinical pharmacies for misfills. We have defended the state’s largest pharmaceutical manufacturer in licensing and administration of its in-house pharmacy. We were also involved in the approval and certification of an electronic paperless prescription transmission system.
We are a member of the American Association of Pharmacy Law.
