Avin joined the firm as an Of Counsel in December 2025. He brings nine years of litigation experience in a variety of practice areas, including aviation, cannabis, common and complex commercial disputes, construction defects, employment, environmental cleanup, insurance coverage, landlord-tenant disputes, personal injury, product liability, property boundary disputes, and property damage. Moreover, Avin has practiced and litigated in a wide array of jurisdictions, including Alaska, California, Delaware, Hawai’i, Idaho, Italy, Montana, Oregon, Texas, and Washington. He is admitted to the Western District of Washington.
Avin attended the University of Washington for undergraduate studies where he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Law, Societies & Justice. Thereafter, he attended Seattle University School of Law, graduating Magna Cum Laude and earning CALI Awards – denoting the attainment of the highest grade in a class – in Client Counseling and Negotiation, Constitutional Law, and Legal Writing. Avin also served as an associate editor for the Seattle University Law Review, a member of the law school’s Moot Court Board, and a member of the law school’s Alternative Dispute Resolution Board. Avin attended the University of Washington for undergraduate studies where he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Law, Societies & Justice. Avin is a Seattle-area native. Outside of work, he enjoys cooking, playing basketball, rooting for the Seahawks, running, and spending time with his family.
