Lauren D. Leitch joined Floyd, Pflueger, Kearns, Nedderman & Gress, P.S. in May 2026. Her practice focuses on schools and teacher liability, medical malpractice defense, sexual abuse litigation, employment law, and general civil litigation defense.
Prior to joining the firm, Lauren worked in public entity defense, defending local fire districts and public schools. Lauren also practiced as an Assistant District Attorney in New York City and Memphis, TN, where she successfully litigated numerous Fourth Amendment issues and conducted jury trials.
Lauren received her J.D. from Indiana University Maurer School of Law in 2019. While in law school, Lauren participated in the Pro Bono Protective Order Project, helping victims of domestic abuse obtain protective orders. For her pro bono work during law school, Lauren was awarded the Class of 2019 Pro Bono Award for both her 1L and 2L years. In addition to her pro bono work, Lauren served as an Articles Editor for the Indiana Journal of Law and Social Equality. Lauren received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Sciences with minors in Chemistry and Psychology from Christian Brothers University in 2013. Between completing her undergraduate degree and attending law school, Lauren worked in the biomedical research field.
Lauren grew up in Memphis, Tennessee and is an avid Memphis Grizzlies fan. Lauren now lives in Tacoma with her husband and two cats. Outside of work, Lauren enjoys cooking, hiking with her husband, and learning new skills, most recently pottery.
