Dakota L. Solberg joined Floyd, Pflueger, Kearns, Nedderman & Gress, P.S. in April 2019. His practice focuses on general civil litigation defense.
Prior to joining the firm, Dakota spent a decade in the courtroom trying cases. He first worked as a civil prosecutor, then joined a family law firm in Seattle. While there, he represented hundreds of clients in complex family law matters, involving everything from valuing businesses and assessing employability to navigating child sex abuse claims and international jurisdictional disputes.
Dakota is a lifelong Husky, first taking a trigonometry class at the University of Washington when he was thirteen. In 2005, he received his Bachelor of Arts degree with College Honors in Philosophy and German Literature from UW. Finally, in 2010, he received his Juris Doctor from UW Law, where he was a Vice President of the Moot Court Honor Board and a champion of mock trial, appellate advocacy, and contract negotiation competitions.
Residing with his wife, son, and dog in north Seattle, Dakota spends his free time long-distance running, baking breads and cakes to undo the running, and reading a backlog of books.
