William (“Bill”) Dow joined Floyd, Pflueger, Kearns, Nedderman & Gress, P.S. as an Associate in August 2017 and was promoted to Partner in June 2021. His practice focuses on general litigation and insurance defense.
Prior to joining the firm, Bill practiced personal injury and general litigation at two plaintiff law firms in Seattle, both as a clerk during law school and as an associate upon graduation. He also served as a judicial extern to both the Honorable Ronald B. Leighton of the U.S. District Court for the Western District Court of Washington, and to the Honorable Carol Schapira of the King County Superior Court.
Bill graduated from the University of Washington in 2013 with a B.S. in Economics and a B.A. in International Studies. He graduated from the Seattle University School of Law magna cum laude in 2016, where he received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award six times-twice in Constitutional Law, twice in Torts, and once in both Medical Liability and Criminal Procedure. Bill was also an Associate Editor of the Law Review.
Since joining the firm, Bill has successfully obtained summary judgment on behalf of numerous tribal entities and individuals, and has resolved even more cases favorably for contractors, small businesses, and other clients. Bill was recently selected as a Super Lawyers Rising Star, a distinction awarded to less than 2.5 percent of attorneys statewide.
A native of Issaquah, Bill enjoys running, playing ice hockey, and volunteering to prevent homelessness and housing instability.
