Thomas B. Nedderman

Thomas B. Nedderman initially practiced law for three years in Chicago, Illinois prior to moving to Seattle, Washington.  He joined Floyd, Pflueger, Kearns, Nedderman & Gress, P.S. in 1999 and was promoted to Partner in 2002.  He is licensed to practice law in Washington, Alaska, Oregon and Illinois and is a Tribal Bar member for the Chehalis, Tulalip, Muckleshoot, Swinomish, Sauk-Suiattle, Lummi, Puyallup, Coquille, Nisqually, Colville, Suquamish, and Stillaguamish tribes.

Tom’s practice focuses on liability defense in a variety of complex civil litigation cases.  He represents municipalities, Indian Tribes, non-profit organizations, contractors/business owners, school districts and professionals against claims of negligence, product liability, breach of contract, professional liability, property damage and employment matters.  He regularly defends construction site and automobile/trucking accidents, and claims for premises liability, sexual abuse, fire loss, liquor liability, civil rights and wrongful termination matters.

Tom has extensive experience in Superior and District Courts of Washington, Oregon and Alaska, and practices in the Court of Appeals and Federal District Courts in Washington and Alaska.  Tom is a 1996 graduate of Western Michigan University Law School in Lansing, Michigan, where he received the Distinguished Student Award and he is peer review rated AV Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell. He received his B.A. in Political Science from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 1990.

Tom is a member of a local hockey team and enjoys skiing, live music, and spending time with his family.
